Il Molino di Grace

Italy

Founded by American Frank Grace in the mid-1990s, Il Molino di Grace is based in Panzano in Chianti, Tuscany, where the family remains involved in the estate. Its vineyards, situated at 280–450 metres, produce Chianti Classico, Riserva, Gran Selezione and Super-Tuscan wines. Certified organic since 2010, the estate follows biodynamic and sustainable practices including hand-harvesting, minimal soil disturbance, organic fertilization, indigenous yeasts and the reuse of vine cuttings for energy. Winery operations are overseen by Iacopo Morganti, with oenological guidance from Franco Bernabei. The estate’s vineyards have a history of winegrowing stretching back more than three centuries, while its modern winery combines traditional Chianti Classico character with contemporary production methods.
