Gainey Vineyard

United States

Gainey Vineyard is a fourth-generation, family-owned winery in California’s Santa Ynez Valley, operated by the Gainey family with the involvement of Dan and Diane Gainey’s children. Its vineyards span three distinct sites, from the warmer Santa Ynez Valley to the cooler Santa Rita Hills, supporting Bordeaux and Rhône varieties as well as Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Syrah. Sustainable viticulture includes cover crops, compost, natural soil amendments, hand-weeding and no pesticides or herbicides. Winemaker Jeff LeBard has guided the winery’s style and quality for the past 14 years.
