Marco Bonfante

Italy

Marco Bonfante is a family-run winery in Nizza Monferrato, Piedmont, where the Bonfante family has produced wine for eight generations. Founded in 2000 by siblings Marco and Micaela, the estate combines family-owned vineyards with carefully supervised external parcels. Marco, an Oenology graduate from the Alba school, oversees winemaking and company management, supported by oenologist Gianluca Scaglione and agronomist Daniele Eberle. The winery follows low-environmental-impact practices, emphasizing low yields per vine, vineyard care, and careful grape selection before and during harvest. Its wines reflect the family’s focus on the land and the quality of Piedmont’s Barbera- and Monferrato-producing area.
