La Tordera

Italy

La Tordera is a family-owned winery in Vidor, in Veneto’s Valdobbiadene hills, run by the Vettoretti family since 1918 and now in its fourth generation. Focused on Prosecco from Valdobbiadene DOCG, Asolo DOCG and Treviso DOC, it works from distinct hillside sites including Cartizze and the Rive di Guia, with separate vinification of small vineyard parcels to highlight terroir. The estate emphasizes careful, low-impact farming, rapid grape handling to preserve freshness, and clean cellar work aimed at reducing sulfites. Sustainability is a clear part of its identity, with CasaClima Wine and FSSC 22000 certifications, renewable energy use, water recovery, and lighter, recycled-glass packaging. Alongside its Prosecco range, La Tordera has also explored Metodo Classico and still Manzoni Bianco bottlings.
