Andreola is a family-owned winery in Veneto, founded in 1984 by Nazareno Pola and now led by his son Stefano Pola. Based in the Valdobbiadene DOCG area, it works steep, high-altitude “heroic” hillside vineyards around Soligo, including sites such as Mas de Fer, Rive di Soligo and Col del Forno, and is certified sustainable. Stefano, who began harvesting at 11, focuses on preserving the grape’s character and the typicity of each vineyard, and was an early advocate for removing “Prosecco” from the labels to emphasize Valdobbiadene DOCG. Enologist Mirco Balliana manages the internal laboratory and single-vineyard vinifications. Andreola is known for its Valdobbiadene and Asolo Prosecco Superiore wines.
