Ehret Family Winery is a three-generation family operation based at Bavarian Lion Vineyards in Knights Valley, Sonoma County, established by Pierre Ehret in 1996. The family reserves selected estate fruit for its own limited-production, small-lot wines, focusing on Bordeaux and Northern Rhône varieties grown on the foothills of Mount St. Helena. Certified Sustainable farming includes solar power, drip irrigation, cover crops, and wildlife habitat. Winemaker Erin Green has led the wines since the 2015 vintage, bringing experience from Sonoma-Cutrer, the Napa Wine Company, Pahlmeyer, and other acclaimed projects. Family-led tastings and vineyard tours emphasize the estate’s history, ecosystem, and Knights Valley terroir.
