Domaine Tessier is a family-owned estate in Cheverny and Cour-Cheverny in the Loire Valley, founded by Roger Tessier in 1961 and now led by the third generation, Simon Tessier, with Philippe still active in the winemaking. Certified organic by Ecocert since 1998, the domaine practices low-intervention viticulture and is moving toward permaculture, cover crops, and biodynamic methods. Its wines express the region’s varied soils and vintage character, including Cour-Cheverny made exclusively from Romorantin, as well as Cheverny whites, reds, rosés, pétillant naturel, and Vin de France cuvées. Some wines are bottled unfiltered with very little added sulphur and released only after extended ageing.
