Domaine Oudin

France

Domaine Oudin is a family-owned estate in Chichée, south of Chablis, founded in 1985 by Jean-Claude and Christiane Oudin and now run by their daughters Nathalie and Isabelle. The sisters cultivate Chardonnay across Chablis and the Premier Cru sites Vaucoupins and Vaugiraut, including old massale-selected vines. Their vineyards are farmed organically, with cover crops, organic fertilizers and no herbicides. Winemaking is deliberately low-intervention, relying on natural fermentations and ageing on lees in stainless steel. The wines receive only sulfur and bentonite, reflecting a restrained approach that emphasizes site and fruit.
