Domaine Jamet

France

Domaine Jamet is a family-run estate in Ampuis in the Northern Rhône, founded in 1950 by Joseph Jamet and now led by Jean-Paul Jamet, his wife Corinne, and the next generation of the family. Working steep Côte Rôtie hillsides and terraces on schist- and granite-based soils, the domaine farms with low-intervention lutte raisonnée practices and holds organic certification. Jean-Paul, who has been vinifying here for decades, focuses on expressing the complementarity of Côte Rôtie terroirs through assemblage, aiming for wines of elegance, structure, freshness, and balance. The family’s approach is artisanal and traditional, with a strong emphasis on respect for terroir, consistency, and long ageing potential.
