Domaine Hamelin

France

Domaine Hamelin is a seventh-generation family estate in Lignorelles, Chablis, owned and operated by Thierry and Charles Hamelin, with Charles serving as chief winemaker. Its Chardonnay vineyards lie across Poinchy, Beines and Lignorelles, producing four Bourgogne Blanc appellations, including Petit Chablis and Chablis. The domaine estate-bottles its entire production, with no bulk sales reported, and exports widely. Harvesting is partly manual and partly mechanical, while the wines are aged in tanks until bottling. No organic, biodynamic or other sustainability certifications are mentioned.
