Domaine de la Borde

France

Domaine de la Borde is a family-run Jura estate owned and operated by Julien Maréschal, who works as an independent grower-maker overseeing both vineyard work and vinification. The domaine is certified organic by Ecocert and follows biodynamic practices, with manual dry-farmed harvests, no irrigation, no synthetic chemicals, and natural soil management. Vineyard sites include classic Jura marl for Savagnin and Poulsard, and clay-limestone for Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Trousseau. The wines are described as natural and low-intervention, rooted in careful farming and hands-on winemaking.
