Vigneto Saetti is a family-owned estate in Emilia-Romagna, founded by Luciano Saetti in 1998 to reclaim the family’s vines planted in 1964. Its certified-organic vineyard is devoted entirely to old Salamino di Santa Croce vines. Luciano manages the vineyard and winery himself, overseeing hand-sorting, hand-harvesting, destemming, crushing, and bottling. Since 2007, the wines have been made without sulfur during vinification, using traditional bottle fermentation followed by manual riddling and disgorging. The estate’s hands-on approach and focus on a single local variety define its artisanal character.
