Montellori

Italy

Fattoria Montellori is a family-owned winery in Fucecchio, Tuscany, founded in 1895 and still run by successive generations of the Nieri family. Its vineyards span three estates with diverse soils and microclimates, producing reds, whites, Super-Tuscans, Bordeaux-style blends, and sparkling wines. The winery combines traditional methods with modern technology, including temperature-controlled fermentation and French oak aging, while an agronomist and oenologist support the work in the vineyards and cellar. Its history includes the introduction of international varieties, early sparkling wines, and a continuing focus on expressing each estate’s character. Montellori emphasizes respect for the land, passion, and a balance between tradition and innovation.
