Château de Roquemont

Château de Roquemont is a family-owned estate in Saint-Sulpice-de-Faleyrens, within the Saint-Émilion appellation of Bordeaux. Under Michel Bourel and Olivier Mermuys, the property has undergone a renaissance since 2022, including a complete restructuring of its vineyard. Sustainable practices include eliminating herbicides, planting hedges, preserving biodiversity and maintaining beehives; the estate is HVE3 certified. Its terroir combines clay, silt and rounded pebbles. Winemaking uses stainless steel, wood and concrete tanks, with barrels and amphorae for ageing. The resulting wines are modern, elegant, refined and approachable.
