Bodegas Aragonesas is a large, family-owned winery in Aragón, Spain, founded in 1984 from a merger of local cooperatives. It works with about 700 growers and farms roughly 3,700 hectares, producing around 7 million bottles annually—over half of the Campo de Borja harvest. The winery is a recognized expert in Garnacha, focusing on old vines and conducting detailed terroir studies to identify premium plots. It holds the international SWfCP sustainability certification, uses solar power for 30–50% of its electricity, and produces wines from certified organic vineyards. Technical director Javier Vela leads winemaking, and the estate offers tours and tastings for visitors.
