Producer

Sieur d'Arques

France

Founded in 1946, Sieur d’Arques is a Languedoc producer based in Limoux, a historic centre of sparkling wine. The house works with hand-harvested grapes for its AOC sparkling wines, using traditional or ancestral methods, and is particularly connected to the region’s Mauzac heritage. It follows sustainable farming through the “Winemakers in Sustainable Development” programme, supported by the ICV and ADEME, while encouraging organic viticulture and moving away from CMR phytosanitary products. Its winemaking is led by Wine Director Gilles Trémèges, with quality refined through collaboration with chefs, sommeliers and oenologists. Since 1985, Sieur d’Arques has also owned Domaine de Flandry, a restored 19th-century estate with Chardonnay plantings and a Mauzac conservatory.
