Lurbira

Spain

Lurbira is a women-run label in Navarra, northern Spain, produced by the family-owned Bodegas Beramendi in partnership with Rooted Selections. The project emphasizes family tradition and environmental stewardship, with sustainably farmed vineyards using organic and biodynamic methods; the notes also reference organic certification. Lurbira works with both traditional Spanish grapes such as Tempranillo, Garnacha, Graciano, and Garnacha Blanca, alongside Chardonnay, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Overall, it is presented as a small-scale, boutique collaboration rooted in sustainable viticulture.
