Le Morette

Italy

Le Morette is a family-owned Zenato estate in the Lugana DOC area near Peschiera del Garda and Lake Garda, founded by Gino Zenato in the 1960s. Now led by Valerio, Fabio, and Paolo Zenato, the winery has deep experience with Turbiana, both through its vineyards and its long-standing vine nursery and research work. Its clay-rich, glacial soils and lake-influenced climate shape fresh, mineral Lugana wines, alongside Bardolino and Valpolicella expressions from native varieties. The family follows a vineyard-led philosophy, personally overseeing cultivation, harvest, and vinification. Farming avoids chemical herbicides and synthetic fertilizers, with cover crops, green manure, integrated pest management, and biodiversity measures. Le Morette holds Biodiversity Friend, SQNPI, and Equalitas certifications, and uses renewable energy and sustainably designed winery facilities.
