Château Le Fagé

France

Château Le Fagé is a family-owned, independent estate on the north side of Monbazillac in the Bergerac valley, run across twelve generations by Carole and Yves Glotin, with Benoît and Doriane Gerardin involved in its management. The estate produces Bergerac, Bergerac Sec, Côtes de Bergerac and Monbazillac wines. Its vineyard includes organically managed parcels, without formal certification, and recent work has focused on restructuring, terracing, higher-density planting, drainage and cellar renovation. The wines are described as balanced and market-friendly, with winemaking led by Benoît Gerardin and viticulture overseen by Yves Glotin.
