Château La Louvière

France

Château La Louvière is a Pessac-Léognan estate in Bordeaux, owned by the Lurton family since 1965 and still run within the André Lurton family portfolio. André Lurton has overseen the property, with Jacques Lurton actively involved and leading the 2021 white vintage; Vincent Cruege has also been credited for recent winemaking work. The estate farms both red and white varieties and follows environmentally friendly viticulture, holding High Environmental Value Level 3 certification. Red and white wines have also benefited from specialist advice from Michel Rolland and Denis Dubourdieu respectively. Overall, La Louvière stands out as a long-held family property combining established Pessac-Léognan pedigree with multigenerational involvement.
