Château Doisy Daëne is a family-owned Barsac-Sauternes estate in Bordeaux, held by the Dubourdieu family since 1924 and now managed by brothers Fabrice and Jean-Jacques Dubourdieu. The property is known for both sweet and dry white Bordeaux wines, with a focus on Sémillon. Its farming follows a low-input approach, including traditional ploughing, no weed-killers, organic vegetal composts, hand bud removal, trellising and leaf removal, and reduced use of synthetic pesticides, without formal certification. The estate also reflects the legacy of Denis Dubourdieu, the noted Bordeaux professor and white wine specialist, whose work continues to shape the winemaking.
