Château des Tours

France

Château des Tours is the Reynaud family’s estate in Sarrians, in southern France, owned by the family since 1935 and managed by Emmanuel Reynaud since 1989. The vineyards are planted largely to old-vine Grenache, with Syrah, Cinsault, Merlot, Grenache Blanc, and Clairette also grown. Farming is fully organic, with horse plowing, hand harvesting, and a low-intervention approach in the vineyard and cellar. Wines are made with whole-cluster fermentation and native yeasts, using minimal sulfur, and are bottled unfined and unfiltered. The estate reflects a long family continuity and a distinctly traditional, hands-on winemaking philosophy.
