Château Beauvillage

France

Château Beauvillage is a family-owned Cru Bourgeois du Médoc estate established in 1925, based in Couquèques and working vineyards across three Médoc communes. Its clay-limestone and gravelly sandy soils benefit from the influence of the Gironde estuary and Atlantic Ocean. The estate maintains grass cover between rows and has held HVE level 3 environmental certification since 2019. Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon are harvested parcel by parcel, sorted at the winery, and vinified separately in temperature-controlled conditions using traditional methods. The wines are blended at 55% Merlot and 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, then aged for 12 months in oak barrels. Owners Eric and Valérie Bugada combine a multi-generational family tradition with modern technology, aiming for generous, elegant and approachable Médoc wines.
