Château Barthès

France

Château Barthès is a family-owned Bandol estate in Provence, with vineyards spread across Le Beausset, Le Castellet, La Cadière and Sanary. Philippe Barthès has led the winemaking and vineyard work since 1972, continuing the legacy of his mother, Monique. The domaine follows sustainable practices, including traditional goblet pruning, intensive spring ploughing, and hand-harvesting and sorting. Grapes are destemmed on a vibrating table and the must is cooled before fermentation. The wines are bottled unlined and unfiltered, reflecting a hands-on, traditional approach to production.
