Château Barrabaque

France

Château Barrabaque is a family-owned estate in Fronsac, acquired by Achille Noël in 1936 and now owned and managed by Caroline Noël-Barroux, who is also the winemaker. The estate lies within the Fronsac and Canon Fronsac appellations and focuses on traditional local varieties including Merlot and Cabernet Franc. For the past 20 years, the vineyards have been farmed using an eco-responsible approach, with grassed rows, no chemical herbicides or insecticides, and products respectful of beneficial wildlife. The estate produces fruity, appellation-typical wines, including reds, dry whites and rosés, and welcomes visitors for tastings and tours of the vineyards, cellar and winery.
