Cascina Galarin

Italy

Cascina Galarin is a family-run estate in Piedmont with roots dating to 1781. Giuseppe Carosso’s move toward estate bottling and meticulous vineyard management in the late 1980s laid the foundation for today’s work with his sons, Marco and Giovanni. Certified organic since 2016, the vineyards are managed without herbicides or pesticides, with natural grass cover between the rows and careful attention to old vines, variety, and terroir. The estate grows important Piedmontese grapes alongside international varieties, producing Langhe DOC wines including Arneis and Chardonnay. Winemaking emphasizes careful selection, natural clarification, low-temperature stainless-steel fermentation, and French oak aging for Chardonnay, with minimal sulfur use.
