Domaine Olivier Guyot

France

Domaine Olivier Guyot is a family-owned Burgundy estate based in Marsannay-la-Côte, at the gateway to the Côte de Nuits. Olivier Guyot has been the sole proprietor and winemaker since 1990, continuing a winemaking lineage dating back to the 16th century. The vineyards extend across Marsannay-la-Côte, Gevrey-Chambertin and premier and grand cru parcels, with varied limestone soils and individual site characteristics. Farming follows biodynamic and organic principles, including horse-drawn ploughing, while grapes are hand-picked. In the cellar, Guyot favours low-intervention methods, natural yeasts and bottling without filtration, producing wines that express their distinct Burgundy terroirs.
