Domaine Jean‑François Bouthenet

France

Founded in 1987 in Cheilly-les-Maranges in Burgundy’s Côte de Beaune, Domaine Jean-François Bouthenet is a family-run estate whose vineyards extend across Santenay, Cheilly-les-Maranges and Dezize-les-Maranges. Its vines average 45 years old and are harvested by hand. The domaine follows sustainable, low-intervention “Lutte raisonnée” farming and traditional winemaking practices, including malolactic fermentation in oak barrels. Founded and run by Jean-François Bouthenet, the family business passed to his daughter Marie in 2024 and now operates as Domaine Marie Bouthenet.
