Ca' Bolani

Italy

Ca’ Bolani is a large estate in Friuli-Venezia Giulia’s Aquileia DOC, set between the Alps and the Adriatic near Cervignano del Friuli. Owned by the Zonin family within ZONIN1821, it operates as an integrated “Vine Park” controlling the full production chain. Its vineyards benefit from sea breezes, Alpine protection, marked day-night temperature shifts and soils ranging from clay and gravel to sand. Ecological sustainability is central to the estate’s mission, alongside respect for nature, local wine culture and territory, with modern techniques adapted to the vine’s physiological balance. Estate Director Roberto Marcolini oversees the work, including protocols developed with Professor Dubourdieu and the propagation of a massal selection of Sauvignon Blanc from an old vineyard. The wines are described as fragrant and aromatically full.
