Bodegas Pinoso is a long-established cooperative in the Alicante area of Valencia, founded in 1932 and owned by its member growers. Its identity is closely tied to local winegrowing tradition, especially Monastrell, grown on limestone soils at around 600 metres in a dry continental climate tempered by the Mediterranean. The winery has produced organic wines since 1997 and emphasizes certified ecological farming, with organic fertilisers, minimal pesticide use, biodiversity measures, and care for soil health; some wines are also made to vegan standards. Alongside this respect for tradition and environment, Bodegas Pinoso highlights continued investment in technology and vineyard expertise. Its wines span white, rosé, and red styles, with Monastrell central to the estate’s character and to more limited projects such as Camarillas.
