Bodegas Langa

Spain

Founded in 1867, Bodegas Langa is the oldest continuously family-owned estate in Calatayud DO and remains operated by the fifth generation of the Langa family. Based in Aragón, it farms certified organic vineyards across two estates, with high-altitude sites on slate, stony, clay and limestone soils. The winery focuses on local varieties, particularly old-vine Garnacha and Tempranillo, including plantings up to 100 years old. Hand harvesting, traditional viticulture and careful artisanal winemaking are combined with modern cellar technology. Its wines and cavas express the family’s long-standing knowledge of Aragón’s vineyards while reflecting the distinct conditions of its different sites.
