Blackwater is a South African producer from the Western Cape focused on low-intervention, native-yeast winemaking. Grapes are hand-picked, with minimal chemical inputs and a hands-off approach that reflects a sustainable, labor-intensive philosophy. The 2024 Lazy Lucy Rosé Mourvèdre comes from the Drie Fonteine farm in Tulbagh and is the brand’s first wine from that area. Francois is associated with the producer.
