KWV

South Africa

Founded by South African wine farmers in 1918, KWV is a prominent wine and spirits producer based in Paarl, in the Western Cape. Originally established as a regulatory body and cooperative, it is now a private company owned by Vasari. KWV sources grapes from more than 50 farms and 400 vineyard sites across the Western Cape and operates extensive cellar facilities. Its broad portfolio ranges from the accessible, consistency-focused Classic Collection to premium Cathedral Cellar wines and The Mentors, a flagship collection of exceptional small-batch wines. Other brands include Roodeberg, Laborie, Pearly Bay, Café Culture, Annabelle and KWV Brandy. No sustainability certifications or specific winemaking personnel are identified in the available information.
