Domaine Mosse

France

Domaine Mosse is a family-owned estate in Anjou, Loire Valley, created in 1999 by Agnès and René Mosse and now run with their sons Joseph and Sylvestre. The vineyards around Saint-Lambert du Lattay, Beaulieu-sur-Layon and Savennières are farmed organically, with largely biodynamic practices and manual harvesting. The domaine works with minimal intervention in the cellar, using indigenous yeasts, low sulphur, and bottling wines unfined and unfiltered, with élevage in barrel or foudre. Best known for complex Chenin Blanc from schist and sandstone soils, the range also includes reds and rosé pét-nat from varieties such as Cabernet Franc, Côt, Grolleau and Gamay.
