France

Shatter is a boutique Grenache label based in the Maury valley of Roussillon, France, working with ancient, dry-farmed vineyards and very low yields. Its farming reflects a sustainability-minded approach, although no formal certifications are noted. The brand was created by David Phinney and Joel Gott and operates through Trinchero Family Wine & Spirits in partnership with Bieler Family Wines and Charles Bieler. Winemaking is led by Joel Gott, Charles Bieler, and David Phinney, with a focus on expressing old-vine Grenache from Maury.
