Tenuta Barac is a family-run farmhouse winery in San Rocco Seno d’Elvio, Alba, among the Barbaresco hills of Piedmont’s Langhe. Founded by Armando Piazzo and Gemma Veglia, the estate is now managed by their descendants, including Wilma, Albino, Alberto and Marta. Its vineyards have been farmed organically since 2015, with Green Experience recognition and Organic Farming Certification obtained in 2020. The estate avoids pesticides, chemical fertilisers and GMOs, fostering biodiversity and natural balance. Wine production began in 2015, with the next generation overseeing winemaking. The range includes Nebbiolo, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Artist Series wines, alongside tastings, tours and accommodation in a renovated farmhouse.
