Vini San Michele is a family-run estate owned and operated by Mario and Elena Danesi, with vineyards owned and cultivated at Contrada San Michele. The winery is described as being in Veneto’s historic Valpolicella Classica, where it works with traditional Veronese varieties including Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella. Its philosophy combines experience, professionalism, innovation and tradition, with a strong connection to the territory. Traditional appassimento is central to the production of Amarone, Recioto and Ripasso: carefully selected bunches are hand-picked and dried for approximately 100–120 days before pressing, fermentation and oak ageing. The estate is fully organically certified and uses photovoltaic electricity, rainwater harvesting, lightweight bottles and natural corks to reduce its environmental impact.
