Established in 1951 in Mossa, within Friuli-Venezia Giulia’s Collio zone, Ronco Blanchis is a family-run estate owned and operated by Giancarlo Palla and his sons Alberto and Lorenzo. Its vineyards lie on slopes of Eocene gray and yellowish marl, with Guyot-trained vines, and the wines are made under oenologist Gianni Menotti. The estate has completed a three-year organic conversion and is now officially certified organic. It also participates in the ENOBEE project, encouraging bees in the vineyards and producing honey from its own hives. Ronco Blanchis has received notable recognition for its wines, including a 3 Bicchieri award for Blanc di Blanchis Riserva and a 4 Viti rating for its Chardonnay 2018.
