Pulido~Walker is a husband-and-wife-owned Napa Valley winery run by Mark Pulido and Donna Walker, whose long-term commitment to the region is expressed through single-vineyard wines from Mt. Veeder, Yountville’s Policy Estate, and Melanson Vineyard on Pritchard Hill. The estate emphasizes hand-selected fruit, low yields, detailed soil analysis, and small-lot production. Under winemaker Thomas Rivers Brown, the wines follow a strictly non-interventionist approach: carefully sorted, gently handled fruit is fermented by vineyard block and clone, without synthetic yeast, sulfur, acid, or enzymes, then bottled without fining or filtration. Rich, savory, and complex, the wines are aged in 100% French oak and designed to be approachable young while capable of extended cellaring.
