Les Vignerons de Saint Romain is a collective Provençal cooperative based in La Motte, in the Var, founded in 1929 and developed through the merger of six historic local cellars. Its member growers share ownership and management, preserving a cooperative tradition of solidarity, shared expertise and attachment to the local terroir. The modern production site, opened in 2015, uses contemporary equipment, including controlled pressing, while the wines are made with respect for nature and the vineyard’s natural cycles. Farming is described as reasoned and sustainable, with light soil work, cover crops and environmental protection; five holdings are certified organic, and one wine in the range is certified organic. The cellar produces AOP Côtes de Provence and IGP Var wines, with a strong focus on fresh, aromatic Provençal rosés, including wines made from night-harvested grapes.
