Heritage Wines is a small, family-owned producer established in 1984 at Marananga in South Australia’s Barossa Valley. Owned and operated by sixth-generation Barossa descendant and winemaker Steve Hoff, the estate includes a 20-acre vineyard, supplemented by grapes from premium local sites. Sustainable, low-input practices include minimal irrigation, hand pruning and low yields. The winery focuses on high-quality varietal wines that express regional fruit character and distinctive, full-bodied Barossa style. Steve is closely involved in the operation and is often present at the cellar door, while the next generation, Emily and Patrick Hoff, are also involved in vineyard work. The estate’s original 1850s cottage has been renovated, and the winery acknowledges its location on Peramangk land.
