Founded in 2011 in Roddi, in Piedmont’s Langhe, Gian Luca Colombo is an owner-operated estate focused on organic and biodynamic farming, biodiversity, and respect for natural cycles. The vineyards include vines aged 20–75 years, with additional leased parcels in La Morra and Novello. Colombo works as both grower and winemaker, producing hand-picked, small-batch wines from individual parcels. His minimal-intervention approach emphasizes purity of variety, place, and vintage, with fermentation at cooler temperatures and ageing that remains supportive rather than dominant. The range includes Langhe Nebbiolo, Pinot Nero, Barbera d’Alba Superiore, Verduno Pelaverga, and Barolo DOCG. Labels feature Colombo’s fingerprint, reflecting his personal, sincere interpretation of each vineyard.
