Estreia Vinho Verde is produced by Adega Ponte da Barca, a member-owned cooperative founded in 1963 in Portugal’s Minho region. The cooperative brings together roughly 1,100 growers farming vineyards across the Lima, Vade and Vez river valleys and several Vinho Verde sub-regions, including Lima, Cávado, Ave and Sousa. Winemaking is overseen by José Antos Oliveira, whose experience spans more than 50 years. The producer’s cooperative structure connects Estreia with a broad community of local growers and a long-established regional winemaking tradition.
