Domaine des Trottières is a family-run independent estate in Anjou, Loire Valley, founded in 1890 and owned by the Lamotte family since 1985. Certified in sustainable agriculture, it farms schist-based sandy clay soils for whites and gravel, sand, and alluvial soils for reds and rosés. The estate produces 18 wines across nine AOP appellations, combining traditional methods with low-intervention winemaking. Wines may be aged on fine lees for 3–12 months, with some whites receiving barrel aging; bottling under nitrogen and optional SO₂-free styles reflect a careful approach to preserving freshness and expression. The winery is associated with Michael Taupin and Thierry Spadoni and participates in regional and national independent-winemaker competitions.
