Domaine des Jeunes Pousses

France

Domaine des Jeunes Pousses is an organic, biodynamic estate in Emeringes, in the heart of Beaujolais. Founded by Thibault Liger-Belair and Ivan Massonnat, it was conceived as a project of transmission and experimentation: every few years, a new duo of young winemakers takes over the vines and cellar before passing the torch on. The estate farms mainly Gamay, with parcel-specific work on varied soils, using conservation-minded viticulture, manual harvests, and close observation of each site. In the cellar, the approach is low-intervention, with whole-cluster fermentations, indigenous yeasts, and élevage in stainless steel, fiberglass, or old wood to preserve freshness and site expression.
