Domaine Chauveau is a family-owned estate in the Loire Valley, currently working roughly 17 hectares (15 ha in Pouilly-Fumé and 2 ha in Coteaux du Giennois) with plans to expand. Benoît Chauveau took over the family vineyards in the mid-1990s and runs the viticulture and winemaking, assisted by his wife Emmanuelle in administration and their daughter Lise, an agricultural engineer and oenologist who joined in 2021. The domaine is committed to sustainable practices, holding HVE level 3 and Terra Vitis certifications, and employs low-intervention methods such as hand pruning, minimal chemical treatments, and low-temperature fermentation in stainless steel. Their philosophy focuses on expressing the terroir—which includes Kimmeridgian marls, limestone, and flint soils—with finesse.
