Domaine Bouchié Chatellier is a family-owned, family-run estate in Saint-Andelain in the Loire Valley, with four generations of vinegrowers behind it. The domaine focuses on Pouilly-Fumé from Sauvignon Blanc, including old vines on flinty clay and limestone-rich soils on south- and west-facing slopes above the Loire. The family has long relied on traditional vineyard work, including ploughing, cover crops on slopes, Guyot and Cordon Royat pruning, massal selection, and careful harvest decisions. In the cellar, grapes are manually sorted, vinified and bottled by gravity, and the wines are aged on fine lees in a temperature-controlled underground cellar. The wines are labeled Vegetarian, Vegan, and Sustainable, and the domaine has received recognition for several cuvées.
