Domaine Aline Beauné is a family-run estate in Montagny, Burgundy’s Côte Chalonnaise, led by Aline Beaune since she took over the family vineyards in 2018. After studying oenology and spending 13 years at a Côte de Beaune domaine, including as head winemaker at Château de la Clée, she now oversees the winemaking herself. The estate’s white wines come from its Montagny vineyards, planted to Chardonnay and Aligoté, including 40-year-old vines for Montagny 1er Cru. Farming is sustainable and transitioning to certified organic, with some biodynamic practices and an emphasis on observing and understanding the vines. Red wines are made from grapes purchased from certified organic growers.
