Delinquente Wine Co. is a small-batch producer based in South Australia’s Riverland, founded and run by local residents. It works with organically grown, drought-resistant Southern Italian varieties suited to the region’s hot, dry climate and red-dirt soils. The wines are handmade with a minimal-intervention approach, including wild-yeast fermentations and limited additives, resulting in fresh, lower-alcohol styles with an emphasis on sustainability and low water use. The Hell Wines range provides a platform for experimentation with certified organic and biodynamic fruit from the Bassham vineyard. The brand’s distinctive artwork was created by local friend Jason Koen, known as “Ankles.”
