Founded in 2003 as a single-vineyard project in Ribera del Duero’s Golden Mile, Cruz de Alba is a boutique winery within Zamora Company, linked to the Ramón Bilbao group and directed by Rodolfo Bastida. Near Padilla de Duero, its vineyards are divided among distinct parcels on sandy, loamy soils and are managed through certified organic and biodynamic viticulture, including agro-homeopathic treatments and manual harvesting guided by the biodynamic calendar. Winemaker Sergio Ávila leads a parcel-focused approach, vinifying individual zones separately to express the diversity and natural balance of the estate. The range includes Roble, Crianza, Reserva and the limited Finca Los Hoyales, made from old Tempranillo vines planted in 1958 on sandy soils. The wines aim to convey the freshness, finesse and character of their Ribera del Duero terroir.
